WHO?



I'm Aaron S., architectural designer, professor, former project manager, current husband, and father of 3 young kids.  Albatross Academy is born out of my experiences in the construction industry, and the frustrations of my design clients as they move through the construction process.  When wading through the construction world, clients have approached me feeling helpless, hopeless, and in some cases apathetic about their project.  Budgets, schedules and decision fatigue can burden even the most optimistic homeowners, but with some education and resources, the construction process can be rewarding, low stress and yes, even below budget. 

WHY?

albatross academy began as an avenue to serve my own design clients as they moved through a new build or major home renovation. As a trusted partner, clients would confide in me about the nervousness or dread they'd be feeling about the construction process, and I felt compelled to step in and help.  By educating them about the construction process, budgets, financing, scheduling, etc prior to, and during their projects, clients were able to legitimately enjoy the experience of building or renovating their home.
